Career Services
Career Services provides services and programs to assist students in career planning. New and current students, as well as alumni, are provided the support needed to be successful whether exploring college majors and careers, developing job search strategies, seeking a part-time job or internship, preparing for graduate school or securing a professional job.
Career Exploration
Support is available to help students explore career options, clarify career goals, and link those goals to appropriate academic paths. A variety of career assessments and decision-making resources are available to assist students in the career exploration process which includes selecting a college major and/or identify careers related to academic majors. Tools and resources are available to provide detailed descriptions of different occupations, labor market information, and certification and educational requirements necessary to enter the world-of-work for specific careers.
Internship/Job Search
As students and alumni seek internship and employment opportunities, Career Services is available to assist. Students receive guidance on job search strategies such as resume preparation, cover letter writing, and interview techniques.
Career Events/Workshops
Activities such as specialized career workshops, career fairs, networking events and an etiquette luncheon provide students with opportunities to gain exposure in professional settings.
